IEMA is seeking an experienced environment and sustainability practitioner to oversee future membership training and professional development programmes.
The nature of this role is to ensure IEMA members get access to a current and relevant programme of learning and professional development opportunities. These activities must contribute to the strong membership value proposition, uphold IEMA’s leading edge Professional Standards and align with the ambitious role of the organisation.
If you are the ideal candidate you will not only have first-hand experience of working life as an Environment and Sustainability practitioner, you’ll pair that experience with a background in training and developing others. You will identify and assess future learning and development needs for the profession, ensuring the IEMA Skills Map evolves accordingly. You will build a business case for, and manage the development of high quality new training products. You will also devise and build robust support mechanisms for members to help them upgrade towards Full membership.
You will work with our full range of Approved Training Partners, Tutors and Assessors to ensure the learning opportunities associated with the IEMA brand are maintained to be constantly future-fit, so strong interpersonal skills as well as solid business acumen are a must.
