The University of Cambridge is seeking a Head of Environment and Energy to cover a period of maternity leave.
The Head of Environment and Energy a key role within the Estate Management Division. It leads the Environment and Energy Section and reports directly to the Director of Estate Strategy. The role holder is responsible for providing strategic direction to the University and developing and implementing long-term strategies and plans to improve the University's performance across a wide range of areas of environmental sustainability.
Candidates should have substantial professional experience in operating at a senior level in strategic management of energy and environmental sustainability issues. In addition, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 1 year or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier. The start date is June 2017. We would be willing to consider secondments for this post.
