The University of Cambridge is seeking an Environmental Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.
 

The role holder will report to the Head of Environment and Energy and be responsible for the development and implementation of policies, plans and projects to help achieve the objectives set out in the University's Environmental Sustainability Policy and Strategy. Key elements of the role include leading the development of the University's Environmental Management System and having responsibility for a wide range of environmental sustainability initiatives.
 

The successful candidate will have significant experience of management of environmental sustainability matters at a senior level and a proven ability to lead partnership working with internal and external stakeholders to reach an agreed objective. They will also be an experienced manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 

This is a great opportunity to help shape the environmental sustainability policy and performance of a world class institution.

 

We would be willing to consider secondments for this post.
 

Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
