Project Administrator | International Climate Initiative | 3 Month FTC | CompetitiveAcre has been engaged by an international economic and climate initiative in their search for a talented and organised Project Administrator on an initial 3 month fixed term contract basis, with the potential to extend. Part of a wider organisation, this initiative was established to examine how countries can achieve economic growth while dealing with the risks posed by climate change. They provide independent and authoritative evidence on the relationship between actions which can strengthen economic performance and those which reduce the risk of dangerous climate change.Key responsibilities:Acting as the main point of contact in the UK office for a number of senior stakeholdersOrganising meetings and large conference calls with both internal and external, international stakeholdersAssisting the Programme Manager in financial reporting to donors, preparation of invoices and the monitoring of expensesTracking and obtaining approval for subcontractor invoicesAssisting with travel queries, bookings and preparation and procurement enquiriesThe successful candidate will have an excellent proven track record in managing and coordinating team members and external partners. You will have the confidence to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including individuals at a very senior level and from a range of nationalities.Skills and capabilities:Exceptional organisational skills and a detail oriented approachAbility to engage with senior people and represent the administrative team professionallyAn interest in international development and climate change is highly desirableExperience of the financial administration processesExperience supporting on high-level event coordinationThis is a rare opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team working at the cutting edge of economic development.
