Acre is working with a leading non-profit organisation that is re-inventing how we design, produce and sell products, to identify a PR Manager to join a dynamic team.Reporting into the Senior PR Manager, the ideal candidate will devise and own the annual PR activity plan for all corporate, B2B and consumer activity that will protect and enhance the profile of the organisation's work. This will be achieved through the use of a range of media channels and tactics to create a first class reputation for the business.Core responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day press office and PR delivery for reactive and proactive media opportunitiesImplement the strategic PR plan and provision of PR professional insightEnsure all PR messages and content are engaging, consistently at a high standard and aligned to the PR strategyBuild relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts (press, radio & TV), partners, government and business funders to enable effective delivery of the PR planAdvise and respond to reputation matters and crisis communications, providing leadership to the PR team and the executive teamThe successful candidate will be a self-motivated and creative PR Manager with the ability to devise and implement high profile and proactive PR campaigns. You will own the engagement strategy and activity through providing high quality operational edits, blogs, presentations, speeches and social media profile for the executive team, including the CEO.Skills and capabilities:Proven experience of devising and owning a PR forward plan, preferably within a fast-paced businessTrack record of successfully dealing with national media on both proactive and reactive issuesDemonstrable evidence of verbal and writing skills (both a flair for engaging, copy writing and editing of others' work)Ability to create compelling and engaging stories for the executive teamUnderstanding of how to build strong relationships with journalists, partners and business stakeholders at all levelsThis position offers the chance to support the UK's largest retailers and manufactures in helping to overcome challenges they cannot address independently. You will directly support them in driving resource efficiency through their business as well as working within a highly regarded non-profit organisation.
