Acre has been engaged by a leading multinational construction and development company to identify an Environmental Advisor, to work on a major construction programme for the business. This person will lead on the operational environmental requirements for the organisation, sitting within the project team and supported by a large and growing environmental function. Key Responsibilities: Driving continued improvement in environmental and sustainability performanceMonitoring, implementing and providing guidance and input into the various elements of the Environmental Sustainability Management PlanCarrying out site inspections and ensuring legal compliance with applicable environmental legislationProviding direction, support and assistance to all project personnel, enabling them to manage environmental duties and responsibilities To take on this position and join this high profile organisation, the successful individual will have sustainability/environmental experience working in the construction sector or similar heavy impact industry.Knowledge and Experience:University degree in environmental studies or equivalent level qualificationMembership (or working towards) of relevant professional bodies (e.g. IEMA)Knowledge of current legislation and other requirements regarding environment and sustainability issues in constructionThis is an excellent chance to begin a career in a world renowned business, with fantastic opportunities for internal movement and progression.
