Acre is pleased to partner with an integrated sustainability solutions provider, strategically focused designing, developing and delivering bespoke energy and carbon solutions. As a result of growth, our client has created the position of Senior Low Carbon Consultant. Reporting to the CEO, this senior team member will provide client facing technical consultancy, managing the implementation of energy saving measures and renewable energy technologies in buildings.Other responsibilities for the position include:The delivery of high quality technical analysis and reports including energy audits, scoping studies, options appraisals, and detailed engineering designThe development of project cost estimates, specifications and subsequent tender documentationThe authorisation of designs and provision of technical support and guidance to the project and commercial teamsThe management multiple client relationships, including liaising with clients to determine their requirements and assisting clients with ongoing enquiriesThe project management of multiple concurrent projects on time and to budgetary and high quality levels. Delivering design, management and construction supervision of projects from beginning to endOur client are looking for an experienced engineer with experience managing commercial client relationships and the ability to thrive in dynamic and growing organisation.The successful applicant will also require:A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringChartered Engineering status with CIBSE or IMechE, or be proactively working towards chartershipA minimum of 5 years working with low carbon engineering in buildings and promoting energy efficiencyExpertise in CHP, heat pumps, boilers, controls, heating and cooling networks, metering, heat exchangers and interface units etc.Knowledge of building fabric, such as insulation measures, construction materials and systemsKnowledge of energy efficiency measures associated electrical systems, including all renewable or low carbon heat/power sources, controls, LED lighting, voltage optimisationClient and stakeholder management experience (internal and external), including managing client's expectations and promoting excellent working relationshipsThis is a great opportunity to join a employee owned, boutique sustainability consultancy experiencing rapid growth.
