We are currently seeking an Environmental Management System, (EMS) Manager to maintain Crossrail’s EMS to comply with ISO14001 and to develop the EMS as necessary as the project progresses to completion. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining Crossrail's EMS to ensure that it continues to comply with ISO14001.  You will plan, manage and conduct audits, inspections and surveillance to monitor and measure compliance with the EMS and with Crossrail's legal and other environmental requirements.  You will also manage and continue to develop an environmental competence and training programme and contribute towards delivering the programme as appropriate. In addition, you will undertake review of environmental incidents against Crossrail’s procedures and provide advice on incident plans and incident investigations. To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience: Experience of planning, implementing and maintaining an EMS gained within a consultancy, local authority or other commercial organisation Knowledge of environmental legislation relevant to an infrastructure project Demonstrable experience of leading audits, and registered as a lead auditor with IEMA, LRQA or equivalent Demonstrable experience of analysing environmental data and preparing environmental reports Demonstrable experience of preparing and providing environmental training Experience of managing a team Proven ability to deliver high performance in a multi-disciplinary environment High quality analytical, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills Membership of appropriate professional environmental body Preferably have demonstrable experience of management of environmental issues associated with construction and/or experience of a major infrastructure project.
