Our client is an entrepreneurial, fast growth business, leading the way in the Clean Tech Energy solutions market place. They provide an exciting Managed Services proposition to help their clients fund projects that not only save money, but reduce carbon footprint and improve operational effectiveness. During an exciting phase of expansion, they are now seeking 4 x Regional Business Development Managers to be based in Scotland/North, North East, North West & East and West Midlands and possibly East Anglia. Key responsibilities include:     Helping to identify new business opportunities within the defined territory and conducting the initial on-site client survey to determine project viability Selling a business case into the Finance Director or Managing Director before engaging with multiple client stakeholders to grow business support for projects Becoming a valued advisor to the client, helping to build insight and show real value Utilising internal resources, including lighting designers, project managers and financial analysts to help build compelling business propositions We are looking for a natural 'challenger' type sales person, an individual able to articulate a value proposition and align this specifically to a client's business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business within their defined territory and achieving the required revenues and margin. As the Business Development Manager for a defined geographical territory, this role requires a strong new business sales person with a demonstrable record of selling complex solutions. The ideal candidate will need the following skills and experience:   Track record of 100% on target success selling complex solutions to multiple stakeholders at C-Level, ideally B2B energy solutions Entrepreneurial mentality and a polished, consultative selling style Capability to manage a broad pipeline across a large number of opportunities Outstanding presentation with excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills Good financial knowledge and experience of selling managed service propositions (or similar) with a compelling financial ROI Our client is just beginning to experience 'hockey-stick' explosive growth, so this is an exciting and influential time to join a high energy and dynamic business.
