Exciting opportunity for an experienced contaminated land Project Manager working for a specialist contaminated land company in Kent. Your new role will involve working on projects from the initial design stage right through to the implementation and completion, while building and maintaining good client relationships throughout.As a specialist company, my client are called upon to work on some professionally interesting and challenging projects across a variety of sectors. You will be leading and working with a multi-skilled and highly skilled team of enthusiastic and driven individuals. Location:KentRole Responsibilities:·Delivery and project management of contaminated land / remediation projects.·Responsible for all aspects of project delivery including bidding, resource, client and project management as well as being technical lead.·Business development to grow local client base and support national team.·Line management, including technical and commercial mentoring.·Phase I and Phase II assessments.·Cover the whole project life cycle from initial walkover stage to the close out of the final report.·Contract document production and management of contract during siteworks from the office base.·Design, implementation and supervision packages for remediation and demolition (NEC3 and others).About you:·Appropriate degree in scientific discipline.·Preferably relevant Masters and Chartered status.·Minimum of 6 years in contaminated land, geo-environmental, civil engineering.·Conversant with health, safety and environmental procedures, quality assurance procedures, financial and commercial procedures.·Practical experience and knowledge of the implementation of in-situ remediation would be an advantage.·Project management experience.·Proven effective commercial management of projects, including client management, financial and programme management.·Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects.·Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget with a strong focus on client care.·Willingness to travel and full UK/EC driving licence is essential.About this opportunity:If you are a contaminated land / geo-environmental specialist whose skills can sometimes be lost in a large multi-disciplinary organisation, this is a great chance to move to an organisation where your experience will be really valued.
