Summary:Exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Consultant with experience of successfully delivering BREEAM assessments. This opportunity will allow you to grow your career in a very successful independent sustainability consultancy covering the UK.My client work with some of the biggest names within the construction industry to provide sustainability advice and assessments. They have built a reputation around the high quality of their advice and have been involved in some of the larger and more complex projects around the region.Location:DevonRole Responsibilities:·Provision of BREEAM advice and assessments in relation to mixed-use and non-residential development.·Active involvement with the client to ensure sustainability requirements are considered throughout the project.·Providing high quality consultancy and written reports at land purchase and planning stage to ensure that planning requirements are met.·Acting as Project Lead, responsible for the financial and project management of the delivery of a range of sustainability services to complex mixed use developments and non-residential projects.About You:·Licensed BREEAM Assessor (preferably Commercial and Multi-residential).·Experienced at providing consultancy at planning stage and input into planning statements.·Have in depth and up to date understanding of BREEAM schemes.·Experienced at delivering BREEAM Assessments.·Able to influence clients and other consultants and be experienced in a client facing situation.·Ability to visualise in 3D and interpret technical drawings.·Preferably have experience of leading the delivery of sustainability services in relation to mixed-use schemes.·Have a good working knowledge of SAP, the Code for Sustainable Homes, SBEM and M&E specifications.·Ideally familiar with UK planning requirements and Building Regulations, in particular in relation to the conservation of fuel and power. ·Enjoy working as part of a team.·Have a full driving licence.About this opportunity:This really is a great opportunity if you are a motivated individual who is looking for an opportunity to shine within a company who take pride in looking after their employees and whose sustainability credentials go right to the heart of their culture.If you are interested in finding out more about this position or similar roles and would like a discreet non-committal chat please contact Julia Windridge (julia@jsm-associates.co.uk) or 01934 312155.Contact us: If you have applied for a role and have not received a response within one working week, please assume that your application has not been successful this time around.
