Our client is an established environmental consultancy that provides expert advice and technical solutions to a wide range of clients such as public agencies, private companies, government bodies and conservation organisations. Their ecology team provides services such as mitigation, habitat creation and restoration and any other conservation services required including protected species management.  They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join their Gloucestershire based office. Ideally you will hold at least one protected species survey licence and ideally candidates witha bat survey licence would be ideal.  The Role: You will be responsible for the management and delivery of consultancy projects from inception to completion, which includes but is not limited to: designing project briefs; production of quotes; fieldwork; provision of client advice; liaison with regulators; production of reports and other outputs; and the management of sub-contractors. Applicants must hold a degree in an ecology related subject and have a minimum of 3 years ecological consultancy experience. The ideal candidate will possess at least one protected species license and have proven team and project management skills.
