Our Client, a Leading Multi-Disciplinary who deliver landscape based projects in a fast moving, client focused commercial environment, where much of the work relates to renewable energy developments. They are currently looking to recruit Graduate Planners to join a team of Landscape professionals primarily for their Bristol office but are interested in candidates in the South East Region as well to work closely with colleagues in other disciplines, such as Environmental Impact Assessment, Ecology and Archaeology. The successful candidates will work within a small but rapidly growing team preparing and submitting planning applications, planning appeals and Environmental Impact Assessments, and participating in community consultations.  The ideal candidate will be familair with the contributing too or the carrying out of Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA). Key responsibilities:   - Support colleagues in the preparation, management and submission of planning applications on behalf    of clients, including preparing application documentation.  - Assist in the preparation and submission of planning appeals.  - Coordinate the community consultation process and, with support of colleagues, attend consultation    events.  - Consult with clients, third parties and planning authorities.  - Carry out desk studies connected to planning & EIA   - Prepare site plans, planning application drawings and assist in preparation of visual outputs such as    exhibition boards. Performance Criteria   - Prepare planning application documentation in accordance with statutory requirements, company    protocols and recognised good practice.  - Manage the planning application process, including assisting with over-seeing the inputs of other    specialist consultants to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget  - Consult effectively with clients, planning authorities and statutory consultees.    Prepare GIS / CAD plans and technical drawings and undertake data analysis and desk studies, both    within the time budgeted.  - Contribute to team and personal sales targets through supporting senior colleagues in preparation of    tenders, proposals and market research.  - Adopt a positive 'can-do' mindset with the willingness and flexibility to work across the whole sphere of    EIA & Planning. Job Requirements:  Good knowledge of Town & Country Planning regulations and process, particularly the planning application and determination process, working knowledge of CAD and/or GIS and a full driving licence essential.
