A waste and resource efficiency organisation is looking to hire an experienced Team Manager to lead the Collaborative Change Programme (CCP) team and manage it's associated projects.   This position will be the key liaison and ambassador to the internal and external stakeholders. Reporting into the Programme Area Manager (PAM), you will manage and lead a highly technical team of recycling and waste management advisors and supervise the timely delivery of numerous projects related to the CCP. Responsibilities include: Managing a large technical team effectively and drive delivery on agree project outcomes Contributing to the ongoing development of team members working on the CCP, providing mentoring and feedback on their performance Establishing a routine reporting system to monitor and access project progress Outlining project objectives, budgets, time-lines, deliverables and required resources Providing a project schedule for the internal and external teams Producing a high standard of quality reports to the PAM, the Programme Board and Welsh Government As the successful candidate, you will be motivational, constructive and results oriented with a track record of exceptional project delivery. You will have an eye for detail, and the ability to advise extensively on waste management systems to the CCP team to ensure a high standard of delivery. Key skills and requirements: Demonstrable experience in staff and team management, including the practice of running and managing remotely Proven track record of effective, timely and successful project delivery Extensive operational knowledge of waste, recycling and waste management Comprehensive understanding of waste and recycling issues and policy associated with the Welsh waste sector Exceptional communication skills , to include writing, reviewing and presenting reports for internal and external purposes Influencing skills and able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, internally and externally across local authorities and government In this role, you will be facilitating the delivery of more sustainable waste management services across Wales with the sole purpose of accelerating the continued transition to a sustainable resource-efficient economy.
