Location Manchester Responsibilities Delivery of high-quality EIA programmes and authorship of robust Environmental statements and related documents on a variety of projects to budgets and deadlines. Provide clients with environmental and sustainability solutions. Contribute to team resourcing, training and strategic management. Monitor and manage team financial performance. Identify business development opportunities. Mentor junior staff and encourage their personal development goals. Capabilities and Qualifications: Candidate must have: First degree in appropriate subject. Higher degree in appropriate subject (ideally). Chartered Environmentalist status. Proven experience in EIA management, ideally with specialist skillset. Good commercial awareness. Good understanding of public and private sector business needs. Wide and deep understanding of current issues and market drivers. Candidate must be: CEnv status with membership of appropriate professional institute. Qualified in one or more of the following: environmental science; geography; environmental management; EIA; ecology; planning; economics; air quality; acoustics; waste management; water sciences; energy management; resource efficiency; archaeology; soil science; agriculture; agriculture engineering; urban design; water sciences; energy management Able to identify trends and make connections between apparent disparate topics. Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
