Acre is currently working with one of the UK's market leaders in Fire, Health and Safety who specialise in delivering high quality consultancy, training and risk assessment services. This is a privately owned company who invest heavily into the development of their team, recognising their value to the organisation. The company is currently undergoing rapid growth and they are looking for a talented fire, health and safety professional to join their collaborative team.The individual will carry out a variety of fire, health and safety risk assessment based services, for a wide variety of clients ranging from commercial, retail, education and local government sectors. Therefore the successful candidate must be confident, articulate with good interpersonal skills and have a positive approach to safety.Responsibilities will include:Taking a hands on approach with regular risk assessment and audits ensuring compliance to EHS regulationInstilling appropriate EHS behaviour and awareness within client organisations through effective training and performance assessmentManaging relationships with key clients and maintaining an awareness of new services which will provide additional client valueCompleting comprehensive fire risk assessments as required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005Developing and delivering health and safety training (including fire warden training and fire awareness)Writing technical and comprehensive health, safety and fire reports, including policies and evacuation proceduresYou will have:Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface internally, with clients, and regulatory authoritiesA clear understanding of management regulations and practice within the industryProven ability to work independently and as part of a teamNEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & SafetyNEBOSH Certificate Fire Safety & Risk Management or fire relate qualificationMembership of either the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or the Institute of Risk and Safety ManagementThis is a brilliant opportunity to work with one of the UK's most highly regarded Fire, Health Safety Consultancies.
