Job Title: Consents Manager  Grades: Consultant / Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant Location: London or Birmingham               Salary: £26,000 - £70,000 pa We are seeking enthusiastic and capable staff to join our construction services team. We have been successful in expanding our business by securing a number of project awards from clients within the UK infrastructure and construction sectors and we are looking to build on this success. From statutory compliance to innovation in resource management and sustainability, we work with our clients to maintain and improve their position as leaders in their markets. The individual(s) carrying out this role will be a key factor in ensuring the success of the business. Terms of Employment Full-time on a 6 month fixed term contract with the option to extend or to become permanent. What we’re looking for from you? Successful experience in working with civils contractors in a both an office and a site-based environment; Experienced in conducting successful liaison with community and statutory consultees; Awareness of statutory planning and/or environmental consents; Commercially astute in seeking cost-effective solutions whilst managing client relationships; Lead auditor for Environment Management Systems; Construction phase environmental management experience; In possession of current permits for gaining access to rail and construction environments; Strong communication skills (both verbally and in writing); Hold a clean UK driving licence and willing to travel. Senior and Junior Roles ?Applications are welcomed from individuals with a range of demonstrable experience in meeting the above requirements.  Where appropriate candidates may be considered for more junior roles in the business, but with an agreed career development path should this be appropriate. More senior candidates should be able to demonstrate all of the above, plus Degree in environmental science, or equivalent; Membership of an appropriate professional body; Demonstrable experience of business development and bidding.
