Our client is a successful specialist consultancy servicing clients within the private, public and voluntary sectors looking for an Ecologist to be based out of their London office. Job role: The candidate will be involved in all areas of work with emphasis on protected species, in particular bat surveys and assessment. This will include building and tree assessments, emergence, re-entry and activity surveys, data analysis, interpretation of findings to make appropriate recommendations including bat EPSM license applications and their implementation This role may include overnight stays and, possibly, longer periods of working away from home Role Essentials: -Have an appropriate degree -Have a minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience -Have excellent knowledge of UK and relevant European environmental legislation -Be eligible for Associate Membership (or above) of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management -Have excellent fieldwork and report writing skills -Have experience of managing projects to time and budget -Able to lead and co-ordinate surveys -Hold a valid driving licence In return our client offer a competitive salary with a generous benefits package
