Our client are an independant Ecological company who are now seeking to recruit a Bat Ecologist to work from their office in Staffordshire. Job Role: This role involves late nights and early morning surveys including emergence and swarming surveys, as well as bat activity surveys. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to other surveys and report writing when not undertaking bat surveys.  The ideal candidate will have bat survey licences for England, and will have at least three survey seasons of experience. Surveyors need to show experience in leading bat emergence/swarming surveys. They will also hold a full driving licence and will use their own vehicle. Qualifications & Skills: - 3-4 years experience - Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science or similar subject - Associate or Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management or similar professional body - Own their own equipment (torches, bat detectors) and can demonstrate that they are capable of taking a proactive approach to their work. -Bat Licence - Full driving licence and own vehicle In return our client offer a competitive salary and generous benefits
