Our client is one of the fastest growing Water Treatment Companies in the industry and is now recruiting for a Water Treatment Business Development Manager to cover the M62 Corridor.  This role is a 100% new business sales position within the industrial chemical water treatment. Must have experience in field sales in industrial water treatment. Must have extensive knowledge of cooling towers, steam boilers and legionella control. The successful candidates will be aspirational, highly motivated professionals with a proven record of generating and developing sustainable water treatment (or related) business within commercial and/or industrial and/or public property services maintenance sectors. Candidates will be expected to both develop further business with existing clients and to generate business via their own initiative and efforts.  Duties will include:  Responsible for assigning and achieving sales targets for water treatment business to external clients Responsibility to deliver a first class service and meeting the required profit margins upon the contracted and reactive works, from the customers. To deal with any priority legionella or our non-conformance results from the clients. To ensure all works are delivered on time and to the agreed specification. To support business growth and retain existing customers To manage and develop a list of prospects within the sales team  The role is proactive, enabling the Company to respond professionally and convert sales opportunities  To work to the values of the Company Mission Statement and Customer Charter Generation of new contract sales and enhancement of existing client relationships to agreed sales target and margin level, and to continuously achieve sales target on an annual basis Management of bid process from prospect to mobilisation phases ensuring appropriate operational and commercial sign off To assist in the national bid teams tender production. Ideal candidates for this role will have specific experience of implementing, managing and monitoring water treatment programmes for commercial and industrial water systems, in particular cooling tower, steam raising and closed water systems. A minimum of three years experience in a similar role will be required along with a driving licence.  In return the client is offering a competitive basic (£30 - £40K with OTE), choice of company cars, pension, healthcare etc..
