Our client a leading Environmental Consultancy is recruiting for an experienced Legionella Team Manager of a team delivering to agreed targets. The team will be spread across the UK and therefore strong 'managing at a distance' skills will be required, as will the ability to travel, with a number of overnight stays being envisaged. The main purpose of the role will be to:  - To work closely with the operations team in head office to deliver the site visit plan and all associated documentation  - To recruit, retain and develop high quality team members  There will also be an expectation that a proportion of the role will be spent directly fee-earning as part of the Risk Assessing team. - To supervise the work of the team ensuring that key tasks are achieved on time and to the required standard.  KPI's to be developed as appropriate  - To manage all sub-contractors and service providers ensuring they deliver on time and to the required standard   - To maintain all relevant systems and records, ensuring that contract service level agreements are achieved  - To deliver company manpower planning policy, ensuring staff are developed to meet both the current and future needs of the business  - To manage costs in line with company budgets  - To provide monthly report on all activity  - To retain a current knowledge and awareness of company operational systems through the delivery of personal invoice-able work on a regular basis  - Other duties as may reasonably be requested. Your experience is likely to be more relevant to you successfully fulfilling this role.   Desirable:   - Membership of the Water Management Society with a track record of completing WMS courses showing Continuous Professional Development  - A 'levels or other Further Education qualifications - Demonstrable success in managing teams of people delivering to targets    - Good PC skills including a good understanding of MS Office suite (e.g. Word and Excel)  - You should be comfortable working with the Internet Company vehicle will be provided.    All travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with Inland Revenue limits.
