Our client is an International multi-disciplinary Consultancy providing engineering, environmental, planning and management services to a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors.  The company now has an exciting new opportunity for an Associate Landscape Architect to join their team in Cambridgeshire The successful applicant will provide line management to the existing landscape team, reporting to the Associate/Director with individual responsibility for project delivery and management.  They will be expected to undertake project cost control on individual projects and will also have the opportunity to develop their own technical skills. The position will include the following duties: Manage projects and assist in the development of business Provide design advice and guidance on projects at all stages of the design process from outline plans to tendering and contract supervision Provide input to planning applications and development proposals in close association with all team colleagues, clients and stakeholders Prepare design briefs, master-plans, landscape and design strategies and detailed scheme design Use time and resources efficiently to accomplish targeted objectives Prepare Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for EIA reports Carry out landscape survey, assessment and analysis and presentation of the information Attend and participate confidently and effectively at client, project and team meetings Use proved CAD skills Provide mentoring and supervision to junior team members Act in accordance with the equal opportunity policy and undertake the duties as required by corporate and directorate action plans The company is looking for a motivated individual, a self starter and initiator with excellent client facing skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. Applicants should be a Chartered Landscape Architect with extensive experience post MLI.  They must bring tangible design consultancy related skills/experience and a positive and proactive team working attitude to the position.  In particular, the company is seeking a person with large scale master planning and reclamation experience who possesses the willingness to be flexible and work on a wide range of contracts
