Our client are a leading multi-disciplinary company who are now looking to recruit a Senior/Principal Ecological Consultant who work from their office in Bristol. The successful candidate will have:  -Relevant degree in ecology or related field -Full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management -Protected species licences essential most specifically a Bat and Great Crested Newt -Full UK driving licence The main responsibilities of this role will include:  -Providing technical leadership in the successful day to day delivery of project deliverables including surveys and other project services required -Communicate effectively and appropriately to internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and through written communication -Establish and develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients, integral to the growth of the immediate team in the South West and the wider Ecological business -Recruit, mentor and support new team members as appropriate, providing guardianship and imparting knowledge and expertise to less experience ecologists   Successful candidates need to be prepared to travel and be happy to work away from home.  Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates will need to be flexible on working hours.  Additional to the usual benefits, our client also offer a 4-day week in the winter to compensate for longer working hours in the summer In return our client offer a competitive salary and an flexible benefits package including pension scheme & health care
