A leading ecological consultancy are seeking to employ an Arboriculturalist to work in their London office. The successful candidate will take a leading role in undertaking arboricultural surveys to BS 5837, and to use these to produce Impact Assessments, Method Statements and to design Planting Plans.  Essential Skills & Qualifications: - A degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. -At least three years of working as an arboriculturalist in a professional role -Professional membership of the Arboricultural Association - Experienced in a wide range of arboricultural work, to industry standard (BS 5837:2012 Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction. -Extensive Visual Tree Inspection experience -Full understanding of the latest British Standards and best practice in arboricultural methods - Willing to work across the UK - Demonstrable abilities in delivering their own projects on time and to budget - Excellent report writing skills - Excellent client liaison - Knowledge of protected habitats and species - Interest in undertaking bat surveys (bat licence would be an advantage but not essential) - Clean UK driving licence - CSCS Card Arboriculture reporting and assessment experience Capable of producing the following: -Tree Schedules and Constraints Plans -Arboricultural Impact Assessments -Tree protection schemes/Arboricultural Method Statements -Planting schemes In return our client offer a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package including pension scheme and 25 days annual leave
