Our client is a national consultancy with offices across the UK and Ireland. The company has grown to be a respected professional multi-disciplinary consultancy that prides itself on technical expertise, company accreditation and staff training to offer our clients pragmatic, cost effective solutions. Due to their continued growth and success they are looking to recruit a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team based in Manchester.  The role will require the individual to take part in projects from start to finish ranging from site works through to input on interpretive reports. Your role within the team will allow for the development of technical understanding of both geotechnical and environmental aspects enabling the successful candidate to achieve a broad awareness of the geo-environmental industry. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience and hold (or working towards) relevant chartership with a recognised professional body. For the role, you will need to demonstrate good experience of design, planning and delivery of contaminated land desk studies, site investigations and risk assessment (qualitative and quantitative). Experience of remediation projects  and geotechnical aspects would also be advantageous. You should be highly motivated, able to work under your own initiative, with drive and ambition to contribute to the ongoing success of the business. You will be expected to have strong communication skills and be able to deal with suppliers, clients and peers effectively at all levels.
