Our client offers a comprehensive range of services, and the wide variety of project size, type and location. They are now recruiting for a Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer to join the geotechnical department in the London office Working on a range of site investigation projects across London and the south east. The right candidate would have three to five years relevant experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigation, should have a degree in a relevant subject, a full UK driving license and excellent communications skills (both written and verbal). The role will involve a mixture of site and office based work, predominantly based around undertaking geotechnical investigation and contaminated land assessments. Engineers will be expected to set up and run site works including machine trial pit excavations and supervising borehole drilling, write factual and interpretive reports, quote for new work and control job finances and profit.  You will also be required to provide foundation recommendations, advice on ground conditions and contaminated land.
