An exceptional opportunity for an Associate / Principal Acoustic Consultant to join a highly regarded international consultancy working within their sizeable established UK team.   Our client is a leading UK and international multi-disciplinary consultancy with a fantastic reputation for providing bespoke quality advice across a range of high profile projects. Due to continued success our client has an excellent position available to join either their team in Leeds at Senior or Principal level.  The successful candidate will be expected to assist in a variety of tasks,   enabling delivery of high quality noise and vibration assessments.  You will be involved in a wide range of high profile project types, both in the UK and internationally. The projects are a mix of both buildings and environmental acoustics. You will have input both technically and strategically Location Leeds Requirements Degree (Science based) or a post grad in acoustics Excellent track record working  as a Principal / Senior Acoustic Consultant within the private sector IoA membership Experience of noise monitoring surveys and the ability to use noise modelling software Ability to produce Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Noise Assessments Experience of NPPF, PPC permitting and BS4142 Previous experience cost and project management Strong report writing skills Mentoring experience Business development experience Desirable Chartership qualification Experience as an expert witness Key responsibilities / duties include: The role will include the supporting the team leader of the acoustics team in a variety of areas, whilst supporting the delivery of high quality technical consultancy and assessment services. Working on national and international projects, international projects may also include short term travel Represent our client at external meetings, conferences and through the preparation of documents Be involved with business development, including the input into marketing documentation, develop leads and preparation of proposals and bids Coordinate projects throughout the lifecycle of the project, focusing on quality and budget  Use Sound Plan, or equivalent software, to undertake noise mapping projects Prepare noise and vibration technical reports and Environmental Impact Assessments Prepare Environmental Permitting compliance reports Promote noise services internally, within the wider company Benefits; Competitive salary Range of benefits, including a contributory pension  Discretionary company bonus Health and Dental care, Life insurance 25 days holiday Flexible working policy The role offers the successful candidate the chance to join a highly ambitious consultancy, with significant plans for future growth.
