Exciting opportunity for an accomplished and experienced Construction Health & Safety Manager to join a leading international consultancy. This position will suit an individual that is confident providing high quality consultation to blue chip financial services client. Managing relationships with prestigious financial services client and capable of influencing and liaising at senior level. Location Canary Wharf, Central London Capabilities and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent CMIOSH status (or equivalent) NEBOSH or equivalent Working knowledge of UK Construction Health & Safety legislation Technical Consulting Background Understands and demonstrates solid understanding of methodologies and techniques involved to integrate H&S into the management of construction projects. Able to conduct construction site inspections to ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation and best practice. A strong communicator with exceptional verbal and presentation skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with client senior management to ensure H&S related legal requirements are effectively delivered Key responsibilities / duties include: Based on site for a prestigious financial services client, advising on performance management of all H&S standards and guidelines, providing training, liaising and influencing at senior level.  Work closely with clients to establish, audit and maintain relevant regulations. Audit to ensure that the construction contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are appropriately managed and assessed, to include managing supplier controls assurance process, review training and supplier reviews. Operational Duties Attend design team meetings to review H&S management, audit Construction Phase H&S Plans and review compliance. Carry out accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Clients procedures, analyse data and make recommendations.
