Our client is a leading Environmental, Construction and Health and Safety Consultancy that is currently expanding their Water Division. The Water Hygiene Team currently provides Legionella compliance related services, with some additional related services.   The company are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor and initially the applicant will be carrying out Legionella risk assessment reviews and some new risk assessments in the Surrey area, mainly in Schools (mostly Primary) and other Public Buildings.  The applicant will be involved with the whole life-cycle of the project, including liaising with the site, carrying out the survey, writing up the report and in some instances advising site staff  (usually explaining to school caretakers how to use their log-books, take temperatures etc).  The company also provide consultancy services as part of the contract, which the applicant could become involved with depending on experience. Minimum requirements for this role are as follows Legionella Risk Assessment experience (Minimum 1 years' Experience) City and Guild qualification or equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessing  Experience should include surveys on schools and other public buildings or buildings of similar size/complexity.  Reasonable written English and IT skills  Need to live within a reasonable travel distance of Surrey (<1hr at peak times) Must be able to pass a CRB check Initiative and independent working; someone who can plan and complete their work without continuous supervision and can meet the targets set. Candidates must be flexible to learn other aspects of what the company do this can include CAD drawings, closed system tests, swimming pool analysis or assist the asbestos team.   In the long term the company could well be able to offer the chance of international travel with the role as the company have projects coming up in the Middle East.   The company in return offer a competitive salary, and benefits including including Childcare Vouchers, Group Pension Plans, and Health Care Plans etc.
