We’re looking for a SHE Advisor, based at our Halifax factory in West Yorkshire. Our Story Nestlé Halifax Factory in West Yorkshire is the home of the iconic confectionary brand Quality Street amongst several other well-known brands such as After Eight and the American favorite, Butterfinger. These are produced through controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. Our Opportunity The Safety, Health and Environment Advisor will be responsible for supporting the SHE Manager in all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) with particular focus on the environment piece. As Safety, Health and Environment Advisor  your key responsibilities will be to support the development and implementation of the Factory's SHE strategy and program through installing the SHE objectives. This Safety, Health and Environment Advisor role is key to ensuring the correct behaviours are embedded on the site to create the mind set of zero accidents, incidents and environmental impact. The factory is moving forward with TPM principles so it’s an exciting time to be involved. You For the Safety, Health and Environment Advisor role you must possess, as a minimum, a NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)and IEMA qualifications, experience of working in a SHE role in a manufacturing environment and experience in ISO14001, and OHSAS18001. Previous training experience and a background in the food industry would be advantageous.
