Acre has been engaged by a globally renowned engineering and construction firm, who deliver solutions to some of the world's most prestigious organisations, to identify an Environment Advisor . Working across multiple sites on this world renowned infrastructure project, and reporting into the business unit Environmental Leader, you will deliver a step change programme on both site and project environmental performance.Key to this role is the ability to provide innovative sustainability advice, alongside managing the environmental aspects of the bid and successful project delivery. You will also incorporate and embed innovative alternative environmental processes, ensuring that projects deliver the planned requirements using the highest levels of technical expertise and efficiency.Main Responsibilities include:Managing all stakeholders and environmental aspects throughout the tender process, alongside representing the bid team and producing tender responses when requiredProviding support for the delivery of the key objectives with regards to environmental plansEnsuring the project complies with environmental legislation, minimising the risk of potential breaches that lead to prosecutionEnsuring the project is managed with efficiency, including the implementation of waste reduction initiatives across all process and proceduresProviding technical advice and direct help to the project, clients and contractors, assisting with the resolution of any significant environmental problemsDeveloping new environmental initiatives (e.g. carbon footprint measurement and reduction, waste management, green procurement)Ensuring innovation and best practice is developed, implemented and communicated with regards to environmental engineeringThe successful candidate will:Have demonstrable bid management experienceBe technically familiar with an extensive range of environmental processes and products, advising on the suitability for application on-site and any potential alternativesHold IEMA or equivalent membership (preferably Chartered)Be a Lead EMS Auditor (IEMA approved)Be qualified to degree level, ideally in an environmental or related subjectHave CEEQUAL experienceThis is a unique opportunity to be involved in one of the largest infrastructure projects in a generation.
