Our client is a progressive company that specialises in training, consultancy and chemical products to ensure optimum efficiency and control in all areas of water systems technology.  The company is a leading authority in the UK on the control of legionella, and the health and safety of water and air cooling systems.  Specialising in four key areas: Water Treatment, Water Hygiene, Air Hygiene and Training Services, they are ideally placed to develop bespoke solutions for organisations across a range of sectors to ensure they meet health and safety requirements and comply with UK legislation on the control of Legionella.   They provide technically advanced speciality chemical products for water treatment.  The company's specialists can carry out risk assessments, implement monitoring programmes and deliver cleaning and chlorination solutions for air and water hygiene.  Experienced tutors have the specialist knowledge to develop training programmes for businesses and organisations seeking to improve competence in the health and safety of water systems. Due to rapid expansion, they have a vacancy for a Water Treatment Sales Engineer to join their team in Yorkshire. The role will involve building a customer portfolio through proactive use of sales and prospecting techniques, alongside the management of client accounts. The role is field based and requires you to manage your own schedule; perfect for people that like to be out and about meeting customers and prospects in different environments.  Applicants must be experienced sales people in the Water Treatment and Water Hygiene industry.  A proven track record of successful sales and the ability to increase a client base is essential. You must be I.T. literate and hold a clean UK driving licence. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, confident manner and excellent interpersonal skills. You must be well organised, highly motivated and show good attention to detail.  The opportunity for career progression for the right candidate is prominent.  Ideally the applicant will have a degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline or  have relevant experience.
