You will join the Energy & Environment Team in the University’s Facilities Professional Service Unit to ensure the efficient running, management and continual improvement of the EMS at Cranfield University and compliance with relevant legislation and ISO 14001 at all times. With experience of implementing ISO 14001 and the ability to work at all levels, you will drive through the necessary behavioural change to ensure continual improvement. A relevant degree and knowledge of environmental legislation and regulation is essential. An understanding of a broad range of sustainability issues would is highly desirable; in particular the Energy & Environment Team is currently implementing a carbon management plan, a sustainable travel plan and developing new systems to meet challenging targets for waste management.
