Our client is a leading Environmental Consultancy that is recruiting for a Senior Environmental Consultant (Water) for the Indoor Air and Water Quality Team based around London and the South East.   The purpose of the role will be to undertake legionellosis risk assessments of high risk and complex water systems and provide written technical reports, as well as providing technical leadership to a team of Environmental Consultants.  The candidate will carry out the following duties;  Carry out legionellosis risk assessments of high risk and complex water systems (cooling towers, spa baths, water features etc), including auditing of site records Carry out legionellosis risk assessments of domestic building water systems, including auditing of site records Deliver accredited training courses for both clients and staff Carry out high level legionella compliance and gap analysis audits Provide technical leadership to a team of environmental consultants.= Assist in maintaining high technical standards across the business Prepare comprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis Arrange and carry out all work to meet with agreed company & client timescales Liaise with contract and project managers in relation to work under their control Present and discuss reports with the client as necessary The successful applicant will have: Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance At least 5 years experience in the legionella control field Proven experience of delivering training courses Extensive knowledge of cooling water treatment Membership of a relevant professional body Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Dedication and ambition to succeed Applicants would benefit from: A degree in a science based subject (an Environmental Science would be preferable).  Experience in undertaking air hygiene assessments This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team working within a large multi-national company with excellent prospects for progression and development.
