Acre has been engaged by a globally recognised brand to source an Reporting and Communications Manager to be embedded within their innovative and dynamic sustainability team, covering a 12 month maternity leave. The organisation's sustainability agenda is one of the UK's most highly regarded programmes, ensuring the sustainability agenda reaches wider audiences and stakeholders across different mediums. This is a multi-faceted role and will suit individuals who are at their best in a fast paced, dynamic environment and have the ability to take ownership in project delivery. Key responsibilities include: Identification and delivery of stakeholder engagement opportunities with external audiences in order to drive awareness of the organisations approachRefining the business narratives for the Sustainability team, developing compelling content for communicating externally and internallyDeveloping and delivering the content for the sustainability report, across digital, social and in print media, publishing the metrics and completing external indices as appropriate (including DJSI)Ensuring metrics to be assured and reported externally reflect best practice and are aligned with the business strategy This is an exciting opportunity to effect real change through forward thinking programmes. The successful individual will have: Strong experience of engaging and influencing various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring creative agendas are set and values-based opportunities are driven forwardExcellent reporting and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and assuranceEffective communication skills, with particular experience of engaging a range of stakeholders and building those relationships, through digital and social mediaThe ability to be adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with a problem solving approach and a commitment to continuous improvement Experience of working on sustainability reporting and communications is important for this role, with a proactive interest in developing positive experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
