Oxford Brookes University is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to strategically drive forward significant improvements in the University’s environmental performance. You will be: a leader, who will guide the University’s Sustainability programme and line manage the Sustainability Team a proven strategic planner responsible for developing and delivering the Universities carbon, energy, waste, water, sustainable construction, sustainable procurement and biodiversity objectives        a proven ability to drive forward projects to significantly improve the University’s environmental performance leading the University’s Environmental Management System and ensure the University’s environmental legal compliance  developing appropriate levels of service with regard to environmental standards and provide appropriate solutions to challenges developing data driven strategies for monitoring key performance indicators and reporting environmental data to internal and external stakeholders including HEFCE and the University’s Corporate Responsibility Steering Group. You should have: appropriate Degree or to NVQ level 5 in related subject significant recent experience (likely to be at least 5 years) of management in a similar environment knowledge of relevant legislation and sustainable technologies experience of providing leadership experience of developing and informing strategy and driving and monitoring strategic plans excellent organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills experience of using software packages to monitor performance experience of environmental auditing ability to produce concise and accurate reports experience of writing funding bids and/or business cases.
