Our client is an innovative, forward thinking ecological group servicing clients in both the public and private sectors. They are working on a huge range of projects and as the business grows are now seeking Ecologists at all levels to join the ir team in Scotland.  The position will involve the following responsibilities: Assisting with and/or managing a range of ecological field surveys, including protected species surveys and extended Phase 1 Habitat Surveys Undertaking desk studies, literature reviews and data analysis, as well as assisting with preparing reports to a high technical standard and within deadlines  Assisting in the production of Environmental Impact Assessment documents  The successful candidate will have: Field experience A relevant higher degree in Ecology, Zoology, Biological Sciences or other relevant Environmental Sciences Legislation knowledge Full/associate/graduate membership of IEEM (depending on experience) Ability to complete rare species surveys Prefably a GCN or bat licence Full driving licence In return, our client is offering the selected candidate excellent benefits and employment conditions, together with the opportunity to develop your career.
