An exceptional opportunity for an Associate / Principal Acoustic Consultant to join a highly regarded consultancy working within an established Infrastructure and Energy team. Our client is a leading UK and international multi-disciplinary consultancy with a fantastic reputation for providing bespoke quality advice across a range of high profile projects. Due to continued success our client has an excellent position available to join either their established team. The successful candidate will be expected to assist the delivery of high quality noise and vibration assessments, including technical assessments. Location Flexible, NW, NE, Midlands Capabilities and Qualifications: Essential Degree (Science based) or a post grad in acoustics Experience as a Principal Acoustic Consultant and experience of consulting within the private sector IoA membership Experience of noise monitoring surveys and the ability to use noise modelling software Ability to produce Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Noise Assessments Experience of NPPF, PPC permitting and BS4142 Previous experience cost and project management Strong report writing skills Mentoring experience Business development experience Desirable Chartership qualification Renewables experience Building or Architectural acoustics experience Experience as an expert witness Key responsibilities / duties include: The role will include the management of an acoustics team, whilst supporting the delivery of high quality technical consultancy and assessment services.
