Clancy Docwra is growing multi discipline utilities contractor (circa £200m) with almost 2000 employees nationwide. We are looking to ensure continual legislative compliance whilst striving for best practice across all aspects of our business. The changing environmental agenda means that issues such as sustainability and carbon management are becoming more important to our business, therefore, we are looking for need an individual to assist in the engagement of the business and the delivery of new environmentally driven programmes whilst continuing to promote environmental awareness at site level. The role will include: Increasing awareness  of the company’s environmental objectives and processes to site teams. Providing advice and guidance on specific environmental issues. Learning how to undertake a programme of inspections and audits. Assisting in the development of improvement plans and environmental management systems. Helping to ensure we maintain our ISO 14001 certification. The successful candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and attributes: A relevant environmental degree, preferably postgraduate Associate membership of IEMA (or working towards this) Ability to work well as part of a team Innovative thinking Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Actively build strong working relationships with others A full and valid driving licence
