Our client is an independent Water Treatment Company offering services that include Control of Legionella (reference ACoP L8), Boiler Water Treatment, Cooling Water Treatment, Effluent Treatment and all types of pre-treatment and dosing equipment supply and service.  As the company are experiencing an increased workload they are seeking to employ an experienced Water Hygiene / Treatment Technician. The position is based from home and the primary role will be to provide onsite service at customer's sites.  The main tasks to be performed are as follows: L8 on site servicing (Domestics) Flushing of low use outlets Sentinel temp checking, plus calorifiers and tanks Descale/disinfection of shower heads CWST & Calorifier internal inspections Clean and chlorination of domestic water systems. TMV servicing L8 on Site Servicing (Cooling Towers) Weekly Service visits to site to perform weekly analysis of cooling waters. Monthly Service Visits to site to perform monthly analysis of cooling water. Ability to problem solve based on analysis results and advise the customer. Ability to understand cooling tower control and chemical treatment programs Sample collection for Laboratory Analysis. Cleaning and Chlorination of Cooling Towers Cooling Tower remedial works Closed System Servicing Ability to complete on site analysis of closed chilled water and heating systems. Ability to problem solve based on analysis results and advise the customer. Closed system flushing and dosing All the activities will require support administration including writing and providing customer service reports, maintaining your own customer files and submitting copies to the office. A few customers use an electronic log book system in place of paper records. Training will be provided. Weekend working will be required Overnight working maybe required at times Daily travel will be required to assigned customer sites This role is covering sites in London (50%) of the time with the other (50%) covering up the M40
