Our client is a well-established company within the Water Treatment industry, specialising in the three key areas of contracting, equipment and service & maintenance. Due to company growth they are now seeking to recruit a Water Pre-comm Engineer to be based out of their Berkshire office.  The engineer will be responsible for carrying out water treatment works assigned to them, and the role itself is predominantly field based. Undertake pre commission cleaning and disinfections of pipework systems as per the requirement of the department, in accordance with agreed schedules/scopes, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislations, Health and Safety standards, and that company Codes of Practice are always observed, whilst also maintaining a professional image of the Company at all times.  Be fully familiar with all technical documents and offer, sound, clear, technical advice to our clients and our sales team. Ensure all lines of communication are kept open between engineers, the office, and our clients. Ensure a safe system of working for themselves and those working with and around them, maintaining high safety standards throughout all aspects of the Job and ensuring all work is fully compliant with Health and Safety legislation, and company codes of practice. Maintain knowledge of water hygiene practices and legislations, water treatment products and equipment, and to ensure any training requirements are highlighted to team leader/Line Manager.  Ensure that customers receive the best possible service at all times, and that work is completed to the highest standard, including production of concise and accurate reports for all work undertaken.  Ensure that any problems encountered while on site or any urgent remedial works required are immediately identified to the Operations/Contracts Manager.  Utilise knowledge and experience gained to train less experienced engineers and new graduates, so as to ensure the high standards expected are maintained throughout the company. Undertake all aspects of water hygiene/treatment works for all types of water systems and water treatment equipment, as detailed on the assigned contract/work sheets, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislations and Health and Safety standards, and that company codes of practice are always observed.  Uphold the image of the company, by conducting and presenting themselves in a professional and responsible manner at all times.          Substantial experience of flushing and chemical treatment of HVAC systems in accordance with BSRIA Guides, including associated testing. Substantial experience of disinfection of Domestic Water Services to BS6700 (1997), BS8558 + BS EN 607 (2012), and ACoP L8 standards. Good working knowledge of system design and hydraulics.  Good report writing, communication and teamwork skills. The ability to follow detailed instructions, good observational skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of all water treatment legislation. A full UK driving licence is essential.       A well-motivated, dynamic and hard-working individual who possesses good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well on all levels within an organization.  Can participate effectively in teamwork and use own initiative when required to solve problems that may arise.   Must be a flexible individual who enjoys the challenges of meeting deadlines and targets.
