Essential Duties & Responsibilities Establish and/or maintain processes and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with the EMS requirements. Establish and/or maintain documentation necessary to ensure compliance with the EMS requirements. Establish and monitor progress toward the achievement of EMS objectives and targets. Conduct internal audits at all sites nationally within scope in accordance with the audit schedule. Ensure identified non-conformities are progressed to satisfactory conclusions. Report on progress of the EMS to the Head of Sustainability and any areas requiring attention or improvement. Produce and maintain a range of communications to meet the needs of all identified interested parties. Deliver and/or prepare training and information resources to raise competence and awareness of those working for or on behalf of M J Mapp. Skills  Broad knowledge of environmental management issues and how they relate to business and industry. Ability to link issues around environmental management to the wider sustainability agenda. Practical knowledge and understanding of the requirements of ISO 14001. Awareness of statutes of, and sources of information relating to, environmental law. IT literate with experience of working with both Microsoft and Google. ?Experience & Qualifications Experience of planning and implementation of an EMS. Experience of planning and conducting environmental audits. Experience of working in the Real Estate or Facilities Management sector. Degree in a related discipline or evidence of comparable career experience. IEMA accreditation as Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
