Our client is a large environmental consultancy that offers professional advice and technical support services on a wide range of environmental disciplines, covering such diverse areas as Landscape Architecture, Town Planning, Waste Management, Transport Planning, Impact Assessment, Engineering design and asset, Resource and risk management issues. The company are seeking to employ an experienced Senior Masterplanner to join their rapidly expanding office in the West Midlands You will have a BA or MA in Landscape Design, Landscape Management or Landscape Planning (part II), hold a post graduate Diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture (part III) and will be a member of the Landscape Institute MLI (part IV). Knowledge of AutoCAD, LVIA, Landscape Character Studies and Landscape Design is essential. Duties will include:     - Managing basic masterplanning tasks and projects. Provide a single point of contact for clients on these projects and demonstrate exemplary client care - Ensuring that all technical content is correct and sound - Liaiseing directly with internal/external project teams, attending meetings as required and appropriate - Translating technical data and survey information into a written and/or Graphic format which is clear and ensures understanding of the findings And implications as appropriate - Assist with and manage where appropriate, the preparation of fee  proposals - Undertaking urban design assessments and tasks independently as and when required - Assisting with other environmental surveys as and when required which may involve working outside of the usual core hours, i.e. early mornings, late evenings, overnight, as appropriate to the type of survey undertaken - Providing support and advice to other team members where necessary or where requested by the Masterplanning team leader - Ensuring the Health & Safety policy and procedures are followed You will also need a full and clean driving licence.
