Our client is a leading company within the Water Treatment industry that are now recruiting for an Waste Water Technical Sales Consultant in the North West of the UK You will be primarily responsible for assisting sales representatives in making industry-specific technical/application related sales calls and presentations in specific product and market applications. To research, identify and define market and product application opportunities for specific customers within a specific industry. To develop marketing plans in conjunction with field to capture identified sales opportunities. Conduct on-site product application analysis to assess and solve customer problems or meet customer requirements. To provide on-the-job product and sales training as required. Identify training and reference materials needed for field sales training programs. Work with Marketing and Technical teams to identify new product and program applications and appropriate training. Main Responsibilities: Increase sales revenues by providing detailed technical knowledge and assistance during joint sales calls with field organization representatives Work with Industry Marketers, Corporate Account Managers, and field organization representatives to bring prospective company opportunities to successful closes Prioritize and coordinate sales opportunities with Strategic Business Unit Leaders, Industry Marketers, and the Corporate Account Management organization  Function as a high-level product/market and sales technical trainer as required Conduct industry-specific product, program, application, and installation training for the field organization Assist District Managers in preparation and delivery of district meeting technical training sessions Identify and provide basic input on industry-unique needs for sales tools, technical materials, sales collateral, media and other promotional materials and campaigns  Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc. in the industry Work in and alongside the Innovation Teams to target roll outs new innovations  Work with Industry Marketers, PLM, TRC, and Research to take advantage of new technical developments through new products/applications/systems. Keep field organization current with industry technology and best practices. Preferred Qualifications:  B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, biology or related technical field required Minimum 5 years technical or industry experience in the Wastewater area/ PAC 1 (Coagulation, Flocculation) ideally in light industry Good knowledge in Waste Water treatment Plant, Sludge dewatering system Complete familiarity with the entire product/application/system lines as they relate to the appropriate industry, and general familiarity with other lines Self-motivated, pro-active, result-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction  Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and transfer knowledge to others Maternal English language, other language would be an advantage. Willingness/ability to for European Travel  Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
