Our client is a leading company within the Water Treatment industry that are now recruiting for an Engineering Manager in the North West of the UK,  The Engineering Manager will have experience in managing engineering teams and proven project management ability within water treatment equipment and project development. Experience in field service or after sales service activities. Proven record of large engineering project executed in the EMEA contest within industrial context. Water process knowledge (cooling, boiler, waste water) is a must as much as also ability of commercial negotiation with customers and or suppliers. Main Responsibilities: Management and responsibility for the Safety of the UK Engineering team also including engineering subcontractors Driving alignment with sales through regular review meetings Leadership and day to day management of the Engineering team (including Training, PP&D's Overall project delivery in the UK Responsible for engineering revenue target for the UK  Overall data management  Reporting (revenue, close ratio, RFQ run rates and other KPI's associated with Engineering) Order management for engineering projects  Invoicing / cash flow management for engineering projects Overall Management of Equipment vendors and 3rd party Engineering subcontractors  Qualifications and Experience:  Degree Level in Engineering OR equivalent work experience  Experience in the Water Hygiene industry is an advantage The ability to interact well with internal and external customers  Technically sound engineering experience / skills Strong Communication Skills  Strong work ethic and commitment The ability to manage a team in a motivational way Ability to work both independently and in a team, to work flexible hours and to be able to perform under pressure Knowledge of CAD and P&ID reading Industrial instrumentations and water treatment processes
