Are you a self-starter, who is capable of delivering a range of energy management systems? Do you have experience within energy auditing? Do you have relevant and current knowledge within regulatory regimes, with regards to Greenhouse Gas (GHG)? If so – this could be the opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Energy Consultant to work within the Sustainable Business Team.  The purpose of the role would be to deliver energy management services to clients.  As part of this team, you will work to deliver a range of energy efficiency and regulatory compliance projects with a wider focus on industrials Location Bristol Responsibilities • Assisting with the delivery of client energy management objectives, to include performing site energy audits, and identifying and quantifying energy savings measures for all demands on site (buildings, process, transport). • Help oversee legislative compliance functions including Climate Change Agreements, Carbon Reduction Commitment, and ESOS • Provide ad-hoc technical consultancy on a range of energy management and regulatory compliance issues • Assist building detailed business cases based on in depth technical analysis with solid business justification The salary for this role is negotiable within reason and the organisation offer an extensive benefits package, which includes private healthcare, gym membership, season ticket loans and a contributory pension scheme. Capabilities and Qualifications: Candidate must have Industry and professional level experience as an energy manager, as either a support role or at consultant level.  Ideally you will also have experience of energy auditing within industrial sectors and writing opportunities reports Knowledge of the various regulatory regimes with regards to GHG (CRC, CCA, EUETS, ESOS, MCR) Educated to degree level in a numerate subject Excellent analytical skills and affinity for working with large, complex datasets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in standard Microsoft packages including word, excel, PowerPoint and access The following attributes would be desirable.
