Acre has been engaged by the UK's leading sustainable residential developer to identify a new Sustainability Reporting Assistant. This role will support the business by ensuring compliance with the Group's internal and external reporting requirements, sustainability performance and business plan.You will assist the Sustainability team to ensure accurate and timely compliance with legislative requirements and reporting mechanisms and communicate sustainability performance as required. You will also, collect and analyse relevant data, and implement and improve the group's sustainability plan, acting as trainer and point of contact internally and externally.Main responsibilities:Collaborate with the team to implement, monitor and ensure compliance with the Group's Sustainability and business plan and to meet legislative CRC and ESOS and other CDP reporting mechanismsReport on, monitor and communicate sustainability performance throughout the business, via written reports, presentations, meetings , maintaining performance related data on intranet and websiteDevelop reporting tools to ensure efficient energy, water and waste data collection and analysisBenchmark key data against industry peers and out of sector businessesIdentify and review data for errors, areas and initiatives to improve business performanceProvide training on reporting mechanisms and requirements for accurate, prompt dataThe right candidate will ideally have knowledge of sustainability data management, legislation and reporting, be highly numerate, be able to identify and solve problems quickly, and posses strong attention to detail.You will:Be able to interpret technical data sets and translat them into meaningful business communicationsPosses Excellent communication skillsHave proven ability to communicate effectively and work with people at all organisational levelsPossess Advanced MS Excel and data management skillsHave a strong academic record and qualifications
